an economic and social movement that advocates for the intentional reduction of production and consumption in order to achieve ecological sustainability, social equity, and improved quality of life.
Beyond Growth argues that the relentless pursuit of growth often results in environmental degradation, resource depletion, increased inequality and the rise of populist movements. Consequently, it emphasises the need to prioritise wellbeing and ecological health over GDP growth and wealth accumulation, advocating for a reorientation of societal values towards sustainability and community wellbeing, while also strengthening democracy.

Hello beyonders,
I am Alba, and I am decided to boost the transformation towards a fair and happy society that is sustainable within the planet.
Graduated in physics and in chemistry, I have learned to analyze complex systems and seek solutions grounded in evidence. My experience in the public sector has given me insight into how policies are shaped and how real change can happen.
My goal is to bridge the gap between vision and action, ensuring that good intentions translate into meaningful outcomes. Because together, we can build a just and joyful society 🌼.
